Markus Plein brings extensive expertise in industrial engineering and operational management to his role as Director of Operations at Black Forest Medical Group. He launched his career as a Supplier Manager in the automotive industry and later took on project coordination roles in Detroit and Kawasaki. Before joining Black Forest Medical Group in 2021, he led an interface module development team for seven years, building on his strategic and technical skills. 

At Black Forest Medical Group, Markus oversees the value stream—from procurement and scheduling to logistics, production, assembly, and technical service. He also heads an R&D team dedicated to quality and product enhancement, implementing principles of Operational Excellence, agility, and Lean Management to ensure high standards in manufacturing. Markus fosters a value-oriented team culture that leverages each member's strengths. 

In his free time, Markus enjoys running, cycling, swimming, and canoeing with his family, as well as indulging his passion for cooking.
